I doubt it but if it is that’s a 343i early build and would be in no way found on the retail version of Halo: CEA.
At this point, i am not even sure now.
If it’s fake that’s one hell of a menu they put together.
You can tell it is fake because it has the old background on the menu. In actual CEA menu it has the new background.

by pressing the back button you can change the background to the old menu.

Not really. You can press the back button and it will flip between classic and remastered look. Just like in the levels, it works on the menus too.

Cool. I didn’t know that. If it is fake though, which I know it is. They could have used that to their advantage because they can already access the old U.I file from Halo Custom Edition, unlike the new one, hence the reason it is using the old menu style. They just put the Anniversary emblem over the top of it as a separate layer. If you know of a video where someone is switching the menu styles, we can compare them.

Yeh, I saw it. I saw a vid of someone going into the actual extra’s menu a while ago. Could be an employee build but I highly doubt it. Those menu’s are really easy to make with after effects once you get the hang of it.

No, look between the two menus. His, and the real one. The guy who posted links had it right. They did one hell of a job though.

I did, it has heaps of holes in it. Especially where it states it will use the Reach and Anniversary engine. Anniversary uses Halo CEs engine, 343 will not recycle it again. As for the story line, everything unknown is simply replaced with “We ignore it”, really dodgy.
But it was an interesting watch, moderately clever.

Yeh, the “You wake up in new armor” part put me off. Did they see Master Chief’s nudy parts?
I have the game and I can confirm it’s fake.
Yeah, I wasn’t saying it was legit. It really just got me hyped with how the user puts some of those events together. I can’t wait to dig into those terminals in Anniversary!
