halo 4 aim assist needs to be nerfed

I think 343i really needs to either remove or reduce significantly the aim assist in halo 4 ! it can be especially annoying in multiplayer when you’re shooting 2 opponents close to each other. Also, AR in multiplayer needs to be nerfed.

generally, i love the gunplay in halo 4 because the guns feel and sound powerful and the rumble is strong. i wish the rumble can be even stronger like in halo 2. light rifle zoomed in also feels weaker than zoomed out in terms of sound and rumble.

Lol “AR should be nerfed”
Another DMR noob who gets dominated in close range.
HAHAHAHAH

AR… needs a nerf…?

Well now, i demand they nerf the movement speed as well! 10% will make it more competitive so i have a chance at killing them with my BR.

AR is the BEST ever. No longer a BB gun but an actual weapon.

Equip firepower and bring a CQC weapon to the fight. Change tactis during the game if you die too much, because of the AR.

Agree on this the aim assist is way too strong i mean ive got players down to one shot multiple times only for them to be saved by a team mate running past them and dragging my scope away.

Actually I think it’s exploitable or I might keep finding hackers with aimbots but seen a fair amount of people using some sort of aim assist which allows shots to hit me without even hitting be a bit of distance from my body which is weird.

I agree the aim assist is way too strong. I hardly have any real dmr duels anymore. If I go up against someone good we always trade in no more than 6 shots a piece, most of the time its in 5 shots. If I go up against someone who im better than they always get at least 4 shots on me. I played alot of reach and I would constantly beat people in dmr duels without them even touching me. I feel like the aim assist caters more to the players who aren’t that good at halo. which only makes it way easier for people who are good. I liked being able to strafe and crouch in dmr duels. I think they should bring the aim assist back to how it was in halo 3 where it was very faint and you needed to really practice to get better in BR duels.

Use the DMR, it has less aim assist than any gun.

the aim assisst can be a bummer, but the AR nerf? i love how the AR is useful now.

i use the DMR as my primary, but every time i get into a CQC situation i whip out the AR and shred everyone in sight.

i really like how in CQC the AR is a beast, but outside of that range it loses to the DMR/BR.

as far as the aim assist goes i agree, but with the AR i fully disagree.

This is especially annoying. This happens to me so much it’s insane.

I thought you were talking about it being too easy to kill people…

I think they should reduce aim assist on the precision weapons to increase the skill gap.

Also the AR sucks.

I think they should get rid of flinching. When someone is spraying you with an AR, the screen twitches like crazy and sometimes it makes me slightly dizzy. No other Halo had fun flinching. Just return getting unscoped and it’ll be good.

aim assist needs to be toned down…cant say how many times I’ve been killed in a BR fight because one the other guys team-mates sprints past me and drags my scope of my intended target.
