He said that it’s coming out in a month. He answered his own question because that’s when advertising usually picks up, within a month of release.
to be fair though i kinda expected to be seeing regular adverts on tv by now…
I would think most people would know about Halo 4 by now.

I don’t blame him though I was pretty sure there would be some kind of advertisement by now

That’s not really answering his own question, he could have been asking for a specific date as to when the trailer comes out. And to be fair, in the previous Halo games, the advertisement have started much earlier.
Wow. Nice guys. Someone with a genuine question comes in and makes a post that isn’t just complaints and you guys ridicule him?

On topic. I’m sure the Halo 3 adverts started about a month or two before the game came out, in the UK at least. Don’t remember Reaches advertisement campeign, though.
However, 343 is a new company, so they might not have planned any advertisements for TV at all.
EDIT: Just thought, with Halo 3 it was due in september, so having Adverts running on TV throughout July/August would have been during the summer break, which would have gotten them a lot of view.
With this game being in November, maybe they aren’t trying too hard because it would get less views perhaps? I don’t know, just thinking out loud.
