What are some good achievements that you belive would fit Halo 4?
I know there will be some for completing each mission, but what about armour unlock achievements like Halo REACH. Opinions?
Well, it should probably be said that Multiplayer Achievements that should most probably avoided, I’d appreciate it greatly if we don’t end up with another 2for1, because let’s face it, that wasn’t exactly the best Achievement ever…
…Also, the most recent Halo Reach Multiplayer Achievements aren’t all too enjoyable either considering the challenge for those Achievements lie in getting the required Mode, Map and for a certain one, even a specific round, nevermind actually completing the damn task required of you…
So with what’s not a good idea for Halo 4’s Achievements, let’s go onto what would be a good idea:
-Vidmasters - Who doesn’t love them…(?)
-Skulls/Terminals/Whatever the hell Collectables there may be - Always a joy…
-Solo Legendary - I think it was a welcome addition that’s welcome back any time…
…and if we must have Multiplayer Achievements, can we please make them accumulative please…?..you know, stuff like:
-Get ??? Kills
-Get ??? Headshots
-Get ??? Assassinations
-Win ??? on a Map
-Win once on all the Maps
…you know, that way we can avoid the Inevitable Frustration with the weird and wonderful Multiplayer Achievements that do more bad than good for the Player…
I always love achievements that do clever plays on words. I still think this would be an awesome achievement for Halo 4.

Im sorry but the 2 for 1 achievement in Halo 3 with the laser as not hard. I enjoy a challenge.

…I’m sorry, but you can appreciate a challenge, and be all for the weird and wonderful, but it’s a damn lie to say that 2for1 wasn’t hard, and I pray nothing of the like makes it’s way into Halo 4…

I’m sorry but I, along with many in the community, love how the multiplayer achievements are right now. It weeds out the people up for a challenge from the people who want everything made easy for them so they can boost their gamerscore. On my other account (Psychosocialite) I have EVERY Halo achievement and can say I EARNED them, not expected them to be given to me on a silver platter, or for very little effort. There’s a reason its called an Achievement.
If it bothers you that much, do what everybody else does. Ask other people who need it for help.

A New Soldier - Reach the rank of Sergeant in Matchmaking - 15G
I’m in Command - Reach the rank of Captain in Matchmaking - 25G
I’m the Best - Reach the highest rank in Matchmaking - 75G
Newcomer - Complete the Campaign on Normal - 50G
War Hero - Complete the Campaign on Heroic - 75G
The Veteran - Complete the Campaign on Legendary - 100G
Living Legend - Complete every mission of the Campaign on Legendary, Alone - 125G
My Loadout is Super - Create your first custom loadout for Matchmaking - 5G
I’m Perfect - Get a perfection in any Matchmade game - 50G
Running and Gunning - Complete a game in matchmaking getting only kills with automatic weapons - 15G
You Broke my Arm! - Get 5 Oddball melee kills in a Matchmade Oddball game - 15G
Boom Headshot! - 10 Headshots with the sniper in a row without getting killed - 50G
Send Me Out with a Bang - Betray a teammate in a Matchmade game killing two enemies with him - 75G
Get off my Plane - Hyjack a banshee in the Halo 4 Campaign - 15G
A new look - Purchase/Unlock a piece of armor for your spartan - 10G
I hope they make the achievements like the ones of Halo CEA, that list of achievements were really fun to get. I hope they do the same for Halo 4.

i finished all of Spartan Ops and never got my achvmnt for it. i did all of the episodes and chapters. Nothing. i called xbox and they sent me here. pls 343 help me. my service record says i did it all on any difficulty.

Just do any chapter on solo easy difficulty and you should get the achievement, I know because I had the same problem.

‘Many’ is a strong word. Your part of the community makes up a very, very small minority.

You say the the people who appreciate a challenge are a small minority? So what you’re getting at is that you think the majority of the achievement chasers in the Halo community are whiny, spoilt little brats who want everything for basically nothing?
