Halo 4 is Microsoft’s most expensive game ever, apparently. You’d think they’d have spent some of that budget on advertising.
Advertising 2-3 months out isnt as important as the last 3 weeks. Which they have been doing quite a bit between dewxp, and the 2 new trailers as well as commercials.
Also, you have to count FUD as advertising… its free, and has Halo 4 in the title
I think they are doing pretty well with advertising.
I could never find out how much they said it ended up costing…I am curious to find out!! Could anyone please help?
I’d rather that money go into the actual game then the marketing, which seems like they did that. Even though the marketing for this game has been lackluster, it’ll be worth it if the game itself is amazing and word of mouth does the real marketing, so-to-speak.

Lackluster? a 5-part $10 million dollar commercial begs to differ.
