I’m going to start off by saying, this is it, I’m completely done with Halo. I thought after the first couple weeks of this games release that it would be decent if 343 is going to balance some weapons and change some things around, but that title update we got made it very clear that they don’t care at all, about what this game needs to be fun and fair. The first map pack sucked completely. Go ahead 343 give us some maps that aren’t appealing to look at, and they aren’t very fun to play either! Now the second map pack wasn’t too bad. They were all decent additions to the game. I began to think maybe this game isn’t so bad after all, but then the DLC playlist population dropped, making it nearly unplayable. Now here we sit with yet another map pack that is terrible. I thought to myself after watching the trailers for the Castle Map Pack, “Wow, these two commenting on this video are brainless morons, and these are the people working on multiplayer and shaping the future of Halo.” The one commentator is bold enough to say he likes the jetpack and assault rifle. To this I reply go fornicate yourself with an iron rod. I don’t give two -Yoink- anymore about your trash game, 343. I will not purchase anymore of your games, nor will I support Halo in any way, shape, or form. Your game sucks, and you suck. As always, go -Yoink- yourself.
P.S. Forge Island is a worthless piece of -Yoink-, but I’m sure you already knew that, after all you pillow-biters made the damn thing.
I hope this was cathartic for you
Sorry to see you go.
To Paraphrase Willy Wonka:
No… wait… stop… don’t…
You are a very refined, informed, and intelligent person.
We will all miss you.
But seriously, I am disappointed. I thought this thread would actually talk about Halo 4 itself and I might be able to post something relevant, but all you did is rant about and insult 343I without even bringing up the game.
I don’t like Halo 4 either…but nothing of value will be lost with you “gone from Halo”. We need better constructive criticisms, not the ranting of a child or mentality of a child.
Such anger!
I agree (but much more civilly). It sucks. I’m giving them one last chance with H5. Hopefully they can learn from H4.
BTW: Pillow-biter is a gay slur. I don’t think some people realize that. Thought I’d let you know in case you wanted to edit that.

I’m pretty sure he intended that.

Well I never!
Well. Wish I could say it was nice knowing ya
Rawr!
People could enjoy this game so much more if they accepted it for what it is and not for what it isn’t. Good philosophy for some facets of life, too. Video games… definitely fall in that category.
Don’t worry though! We managed to collect enough constructive criticism to both improve Halo 4 (as much as it can be improved given development/hardware/other limitations) and make Halo 5 something truly special.
yeah the thing is I expected a much more Haloy experience from Reach too but after a while I appreciated the game for what it was and even liked it better than the other games.
Nothing can replace the nostalgia and feeling of the original trilogy (like star wars) but as it’s own game Halo 4 is amazing. Obviously we wish it had more of that Halo feel and had many issues fixed overnight, but they are getting fixed.
I find it nearly impossible to go back to other Halo games multiplayer because they are really slow. I will say however that it’s IMMENSELY satisfying to play Halo without ordinance. It’s much more natural.
In my personal opinion this game would be near perfect if it didn’t have ordinance, had less balancing issues (being fixed), in-game CSR, dedicated servers (lag for this game is unacceptable), and better and more classically designed maps.
I can understand your frustration. Sad to see people go.
