Prone…
I’m not sure. I’d be on the fence about that. I don’t think Halo needs it and other people might think thats one more thing to make it like COD or BF, but who knows.
No, thank you.

its not my idea
going prone would be useless in halo. it would slow you down too much and you’d be killed with no hope of dodging or out-shooting the enemy. crouching works well enough when taking cover.

This. I can’t think of any situation in Halo where going prone would be useful without being ridiculous.

Besides sniping, but this would go against the principle of sniping in Halo that is more about choosing the right route, movement, and aiming skill than finding a good and difficult to notice camping spot.
Prone would be generally useless in Halo. All it would be good for is to make it easier to hide and camp. Which isn’t really the kind of gameplay we want, is it?
nah it would just be abused and would slow down gameplay, just think active camo snipers who go prone i hope 343 dosn’t add features that don’t add much and just make it less balanced
I don’t really see how it would slot into your standard Halo gameplay.
meh, halo doesn’t need it.
people would try to drop shot you and that would piss me off so no i dont think so
nah. that would make halo to codish
Only as long as it works with the rest of the gameplay, then yes. I support prone in Halo 4.
(P.S. CoD isn’t the only game with prone in it, people. >_>)
I’d like it as a custom game option. I don’t do machinimas but I know it would help those peeps out.

Even sniping, I can’t think of any situation where I’d want to restrict my mobility that much. Inability to avoid fire or turn around would make you worse than helpless in just about every scenario.
Nope! Chuck Testa.
SPARTANS NEVER LIE
It just seems a bit useless to put in the game, imo.

I dunno… I think it might just make it harder to find camping snipers.
There would also be alot of “drop shoting”.
