Don’t know why any one would think there would be armor abilities in Halo 4, the Chief’s armor doesn’t support such things.

It was always a possibility.

He said he didn’t like them, he didn’t say they wouldn’t be IN Halo 4. But, to be honest, I don’t think 343i are big fans of Armor Abilitiers which is why I don’t think they’ll even be in H4. It wouldn’t fit canonically either.

You miss heard him. He does not like AL himself and he doesn’t know what new take on the overshield/armour-lock ability will be.

This, quite Frankly, isn’t Frank’s call to make. He’s franchise development director. He doesn’t, in my eyes (I could be wrong), have a significant role in actually developing a game, gameplay-wise. Rather, he ties all the canon together into a nice, neat knot. That said, I’d take this as a positive sign if you dislike armor abilities. Just don’t take it as gospel. I don’t want to hear “WELL FRANK SAID!!!1!!” whenever I try to argue for certain armor abilities to be in Halo 4.

Do you think it would be smart to keep AA’s in Halo 4 or remove them completly, or keep some of them… or have equipment from Halo 3 return, or something new for the game!

as long as its balanced I don’t care… but for the love of halo no armour lock on team slayer

I liked AA’s in Reach, but I don’t think they should have any place in Halo 4.

IMO i think that their should be no AA’s, can’t put my finger on why, just don’t care for them that much.

As long as each AA has equal pros and cons to all another it’d be fine.

I would like to have a combination of some of the AA’s that worked as a permanent part for every player. For instance, LB still functions to activate sprint when moving forward, when moving to the side or back peddling LB will cause you to evade in that direction. Also instead of the Reach jetpack, you would have a built in booster that functioned more like the AI’s jetpack that you activate by double tapping A, launching you in an arch from point A to B, instead of just letting hang in the air pegging people below you.

This would also help so people don’t feel they lost because they chose the “wrong” AA.

They should remove them, like seriously what’s next chopper gunners in Halo 4? Oh crap I just gave them ideas!
