Congratulations. Halo is arguably the most popular video game series of all time (thanks to bungie). You could have sold a packaged turd with HALO on it and it would have sold.

So now that we know how Halo 4 is so successful lets look at the numbers that really matter. The population is peaking 30K on average and currently rankes #8 on the XBL charts. Losing to a 3 year old call of duty game and multiple sports games. The core Halo players that have been playing (myself and the majority of people pn my friends list) who have spent hours upon hours have left your game. When you change core gameplay and dumb the game down to yes, CoD style, the core Halo fans are going to be pissed and leave.

Fix it for Halo 5. Go back to what made Halo fun to begin with.

Good maps, BR starts (lose the DMR), balanced gameplay, no perks or care packages. This is Halo.

So, how do you feel about the Campaign?

So you came back here to tell us why we shouldn’t like the game? We’ve seen enough of the “low population” doomsday threads.

Halo 4 is fun, it’s not nearly as good as it could have been but as a long time fan, I love the game.

Wow, another population thread. I thought that we had seen the end of it.

Anyways, if you want to discuss the game’s population, please refer to this thread;

Halo 4 may not have performed as well as the fans and 343i themselves had hoped, but it still sold very well and there are still people who enjoy the game. I am certain that 343i have learned a lot from their experiences with Halo 4. Hopefully, they apply this to construct better games for a brighter future for the legendary Halo franchise.
