Halo 4 A DE EVOLUTION

Love the halo series 343 can do better this game is obviously rushed or made without love here is a few reasons why

Auto aim is to much/ Guas warthog anyone? (get within 10 yards of someone and the auto aim will do the rest)

Weapons are not balanced

Maps are weak and unfun (cept ragnorok)

Spawn locations are awful in ever game mode

Power ups are broken (being able to have Promethean vision and a secondary 1 shot shotgun makes camping around corners far to easy/better then any other weapon combo)

Horrible spawn locations only make the the weak shields a even more painful change plus the lack of cover means its just a meat grinder of re-spawns / spawn camping and frustration

Campaign is good its easy to see they spent the majority of there time on single player and or the people responsible for it are just better at there jobs

ive got more but i cant think of it atm

why do you people praise the campaign? halo 4s campaign was one of the worst in the series. NEVER has a halo campaign been less than 8 hours long, although theres plenty more underwhelming things about halo 4`s single-player I feel as though the short length is the most obvious blunder.

I understand what people are saying about MP, but STOP acting like the campaign was good.

I found H4 camping one of the best in the series. yes, it’s the easier soo far, but the emotion of certain moments of it is amazing.

I can beat every other Halo campaign in just about the same amount of time it took my to complete Halo 4’s.

Less missions =/= Overall shorter campaign

Exactly. If you breezed through on Heroic or Legendary then you’re just that much better of a player. The amount of hours it takes you to complete it should not be a standard by which it is measured. It easily had the best writing of any campaign thus far. I’ve never been anxious to see what happens next in a halo campaign, but now it’s very compelling.

H4’s Campaign was one The most Epic in the series.

Critics Loved it, My Casual friend thought the Visuals are Outstanding, even the Veteran Halo fans said the It was just as good as H2’s.

As you may have already noticed, they aren’t acting. So sad.

I too think it was the worst campaign. It makes halo 3 seem epic!

I get it. you don’t like the game, but rushed? I think not. Most game developers can’t even make a game of the same caliber as Halo 4.

Halo 3 had the most childish writing for the campaign. 343 actually put an effort to bridge the game between Halo novels and games. Unlike Bungie who made the games and books completely separate.

What are you talking about, Vets hated the halo 2 campaign ( I loved it though). Visuals don’t make a good game. oh, and you mean those critics who always bashed halo because of lack of humanised characters? They never got halo to begin with, and attempting to gain there favour was what got us odst and stupid noble team!

My favorite campaign. I’ve never been so emotionally struck from any game until now. Just amazing.

Is there a mistake in this, cause am not sure which side your on.

Edit: you corrected it.

TC,

All of your points are debatable. And are debated often on the forums.

Halo 4 Campaign was very moving. 343i also helped improve the storytelling so that one could understand what was going on in the first playthrough. I very much appreciate that.

I really think its the opposite to be honest, and here is why:

1.Chief getting knocked out and coming to happens so frequently. Used sparingly this is a neat transition, used to the extent that it is in the game, its sloppy and lazy, and is poor story telling.

2.Its over the top trans-media experiment means that the game can’t stand alone as a coherent story. To anyone who didn’t read the books, this game made little sense. The terminals helped to fill these gaps, but ultimately took you out of the gaming experience. when you look at it objectively, halo 4 relies on other mediums to have a narrative. Another indication of laziness.

  1. The commander of infinity’s belligerence, incompetence, and general beef with the chief, makes no sense at all. Its like a forced human drama, devoid of any ‘human’ component.

  2. Cortana’s rampancy at times appeared like an sexist exaggeration of a girlfriend on PMS. I find this lazy attempt to humanise her disgusting, and a complete perversion of a character who many feminist could of admired.

  3. Cortana casts deus ex machima! This is always the hall mark of lazy, childish writing. Many fans are still raging over their confusion of what actually happened in the end. If you think there was nothing confusing about it, then I suggest you think about it. This kind of lazy writing only goes unnoticed by a lazy mind.
