Now im not saying anything about core gameplay wise but the story and events kind of relate the same. Im also sure people already thought about this. And just fyi, I love both Bungie and 343i.
Halo CE:

Find forerunner buildings, gain intel, learn about the unknown land.

Barely fight with UNSC forces.

Honestly surging between the relations of two games hurts my head and makes me not sure if there are more relations haha. But I know there are differences too but right now these are differences. I just wonder if maybe we can relate Halo 6 to be like Halo 3. I just wanted to point this out…

No, it’s going to be an Air unit. And the Objective would be dodging debris while a Halo or some Forerunner Installation gets sucked into a black hole.
Remember the ends of CE and 3 were both Warthogs. The end of 4 was a Broadsword.

You’re probably thinking of Lasky, who was promoted to Captain to take Del Rio’s place.

Gotcha nah I wasn’t thinking of laskey I just have no idea where I heard del rio got promoted for X which in turn allowed laskey to get promoted. Makes more sense with him retiring though so no complaints here
Can’t wait for Halo 6 to have plot holes, inconsistencies that somehow are less noticeable now, hit registration that makes Halo PC look ok, and ummm good lighting.
Then Halo 6 we go to Ark like in Halo 3,which is almost confirmed.And also people didn’t liked playing as Arbiter like they dont like playing as Locke in Halo 2 and Halo 5.So it seems likely we play only as Master Chief in Halo 6 just like it was in Halo 3.So yeah,a lot of similarities here.

No, I was thinking of Del Rio. But I got mixed up thinking of retired than relieved.

It’s one storyline, you just play two different characters. As for it being a “sin”, I enjoyed Halo 2’s campaign system. The system just sucked in Halo 5 because the campaign itself sucked terribly, Osiris wasn’t that great, and they lied about how often we played Chief and only got to play him for three missions.
