Recently if you guys have seen the new Limited Edition pictures on the mightyape site (here) that there are 2 discs, and You can just see letters on the bottom of the second disc that look like “ign” for campaign. If anyone can get a better pic to confirm this, that would be helpful. So are you guys ok with this? I am, since the campaigns gonna be long (dont have a link), and the MP awesome.

> I finally found a high-quality version of the image from Mighty Ape and what appears to say “IGN”, actually says “SC 2” as in DISC 2. It’s possible that the campaign could span two discs with multiplayer on both. That’d be awesome if the campaign was so long it needed two discs. You if only one disc was for campaign, the discs would say “campaign” and “multiplayer”. So, a long campaign is quite likely the case.

Thanks to BalianTheMighty we finally have a hi res (higher res than mighty ape) image of the 2 discs. And it definitely seems to be “SC 2” on the bottom disc. And since it has no rating on it, no “M”, it mayjust be a 2 disc installation.
To be honest, I wouldn’t mind if it’s on 2 discs. A campaign one and an “Infinity” one, with War Games (Basically multiplayer) and spartan ops.
The only thing which bothers me, is what about challenges? If there’s a daily or weekly challenge to do with campaign, I’ll have to switch to the other disk Or they might just not have campaign challenges?
Also does that mean there’ll be 2 sets of achievements? Campaign and Infinity? I hope so!

Halo 4 i think and i’m pretty sure, will only have one set of Achievements. Other games that shipped with multiple disks only had one set of achievements. Look at Forza 4 or Battlefield 3, both had multiple disks, but only one set of achievements.
I do hope that they make you install the 2nd disk, so you can later just use the one disk, instead of swapping between single and muliplayer. Thats what Forza did.

I’m kinda glad it’s 2-disc. Hopefully one will be dedicated to a (hopefully large) campaign and the rest can be everything else.
