can i play halo 3 in xbox one ?
Halo 3 is a part of the Master Chief Collection on Xbox One. If you like, you can play it there.

Sadly, you cannot play Halo 3 in its original state on Xbox One. You may play it on The Master Chief Collection, as referenced above. It doesn’t allow everything you could once have and achieve in the original title, but it does allow for campaign, a few multiplayer playlists, new/old achievements, and upgraded to 60 FPS and 1080p.
You’ll be able to play Halo 3 later this year on the Xbox One with backwards compatibility! Halo Sumer Celebration
