Sorry for the silly question but just heard Halo 3 Is now BC, Is It already BC or are we waiting?

Is It a Free Download too or will I have to buy It again?
Is It on the Marketplace as couldn’t find It even when typing In Halo 3.
Is there a point In getting It, I.e will the population be High?

It is not currently BC. With that said, all the DLC for the game is free though. You will not find it on the Xbox One store, only the 360 right now since it’s not BC at the moment. I think we have a few months to go (don’t quote me on that though) before we see it hit Xbox One. And from my understanding, the game itself will not be free. They want $19.99 on the 360’s Xbox store right now, but you can get a disc off eBay for roughly $3.00. Or even gamestop or another local gaming retailer for under $10.00.

  • From how I took it, if you have the original Xbox 360 H3 disk, you can just put it in the Xbox One, then play. If you don’t, I think you have to buy it from the store (Don’t quote me here though, it wasn’t really the most articulate way with words) - Its not on the marketplace yet because it isn’t BC just yet - I feel the population will be high enough to warrant buying it. I’m sure theres a lot of people that want to play a classic Halo, myself included. Plus since the map packs are free that means everyone will have access to every playlist.With that said, Reach’s population skyrocketed after its BC came, even with its framerate issues and all. I’m sure Halo 3, if it doesn’t get released broken, will have at least a decent spike in population. However, since there is 4 Halo games with this backwards compat. batch it may not be as big of a population boost as Reach had.
