How poor’s the player count at the moment? MCC has always been useless for me no matter how many people are playing and I’m in the mood for Halo 3. How is the population on matchmaking atm? Also, is anyone starting lobbies or anything because I’d be up for it.

The population for Halo 3 has been fluctuating. Some weekdays it’s around 300 players then others days it can jump to 1000 and something. However the most populated playlists tend to be social slayer and lone wolves. If you want to play other playlists you might need to assemble your own Halo 3 squad.

Thanks. Bought Gold for a $1 and remembered just how incredible Bungie’s matchmaking was. Why is it that I can find a game with 90 players in literally 6 or so seconds when half a million people on Counter-Strike takes up to 2 minutes? What a joke lol. The world needs Bungie again.
