I was wondering if anyone else was having the same problem I am. I am trying to play my favorite playlist on The MCC, Halo 3. I used to be able to get right into a game, no problem. Then one day, I get into a lobby and we voted on a game type and map and it went to the loading screen. Within 10-15 second I was sent to the post game screen with no leader board. The white car at the bottom of the screen did not move. I went into a custom game and tried to load Guardian and still only met with the loading screen. I let the game load for about 15 minutes before stopping and reloading the game. This is the only playlist I have trouble with. I am able to get into and play every other playlist on the game.
If anyone is having the same issue as me please let me know, and if anyone knows how to fix it please let me know!

I came here ready to post the exact same thing. It was happening yesterday too.
edit: I just unplugged my Xbox for 30 seconds and restarted and I was able to load up halo 3 in a custom game with no problem. I suggest doing this if you haven’t already.
I was having this issue last night in matchmaking; whenever a H3 map was chosen, it wouldn’t load and I’d get booted out. I saw in another thread that it might be a region issue, so I changed my region to something else (don’t think it matters; I chose UK), then restarted Xbox. Once booted up, I changed my region again, back to the US, then restarted. Now I can play Halo 3 matches no problem.
UPDATE: I unplugged my console for maybe 2 minutes, rebooted and started playing and it works good as new! If anyone experiences the same issue. Just unplug your console and reboot after 30 seconds or so and it should work!
It’s not even just Halo 3, I don;t even play multiplayer, and am just trying to load the game from the menu screen. I have sat here for 3 hours now trying to get the game to work, it’s gotten to a point where I don;t want to play anymore, and will be selling it. I have read that it’s the servers them selves from EA. If that is the case, I want no part of this company anymore. I have already given up 4 madden’s ago. That’s $250-ish they didn’t get from me, and won’t be getting any money from any Halo game in the future until this is fixed permanently.
EA, while terrible, has nothing to do with halo
