Something that I noticed a while back while playing through Halo 3’s Campaign, as well as now that I’m revisiting it, is that there seems to be two different shades of blue used by the Elites wearing Combat armor (one being a cobalt/lavender shade while the other is more of a navy blue.) Even when two blue Elites are in the same lighting conditions they appear to be different shades.
Am I just losing my mind or is this a thing? And is there a rank-related reason for it?
