Halo 3 to Halo 4 (any 343 employees plz read)

First off I hope I’m posting this in the right area and that what I say shouldn’t be taken to offense on any level (if somehow i do) due to that I’m just merely stating what (hopefully 343i may pass across and hopefully agree upon some ideas) of some things I think would be great improvements from Halo 3 to Halo 4 (and that i might possibly maybe kinda be high… :D) BUT as i was saying, coming from Halo 3 as a lover and most aroused person of the game and everything it has given to me, other Halo 3 fanatics, and possibly you who is reading this may agree as well… or disagree…troll(HA I kid) on some of my opinions. Lets get right to it then, shall we:

-For starters, I’ve mainly loved Halo 3 for its creative aspect as well of the campaign and multiplayer (still not as awesome as the creativeness), and that Halo 4 should still have the ability to make and take screenshots, and by make i mean please don’t get rid of the amazingness of how explosions and other such uses to make cool colors and contrast and lighting that made Halo 3 screenshots what they were and still are.

-In forge, some of the things that made making-maps so much fun was the huge variety of things you can use as something (or better yet do something or have it do something to make another something be something else…), and as forge grew, so did the discoveries and inventions. When interlocking was found, it changed forge completely. When geomerging was found, it made Halo forge even better. And when Ghost merging was found, it made forge even more amazing, as well as bring those crazy and intensely mapped out maps that the pro forgers created become possible and easier to make for noobs of forge (Hay, we all were at one time). Unlimited budget canvases, and switches, and breaking out of the maps kinda things also made Halo 3 so great. What I’m leading to is that even though Halo Reach had easier forging, the Halo Reach forge basics came from what was discovered through the altering of map coding to put 2 boxes together, and stick both boxes half-way through the floor of the map from Halo 3 and this what i hope 343i does it that when discoveries like this happen in Halo 4 (and i garuantEE it will happen) that they should be just like Bungie and let the community keep what they have found, and to not PATCH it like some other game companies do when a glitch or mod is discovered in their game, (SPEAKING TO 343I IF ANY OF THEIR EMPLOYEES READ THIS) let the mods and glitches stay with the Halo community and accept and find it amazing that their is more to your game then you expected.

-BASed off my above idea (Above Idea part 2), I think in Halo 4 there should be a huge variety of objects you can forge, just like in Reach, but also not like Reach. Reach had big variety of objects, BUT Halo 3 had object style. An example is the difference between the immovable objects in Foundry compared to the immovable objects in Sandbox which are similar types as in Foundry and other such maps, but with a more similar look towards the map (also like in ghost town and orbital). SOOOOOO big variety of objects, but similar map-look towards objects.

-A quick one towards any 343i: in forge, please keep the spawning menu for objects, such as “spawn time minimums and maximums; spawn on map: yes or no; and the other menu stuff halo 3 and reach added into each object’s specifics and menus.”

K, now mostly ideas that could help improve halo 4 from halo 3 and reach.

-In Halo 3 and Reach, their was a problem with forge that could of been improved upon. Unlimited budget maps were made to have more objects on the map than what the budget limited forgers to. There still was the “too many objects on map” limit, but the budget was more limiting. The budget was greatly increased in Reach as well as increasing the amount of objects that could be allowed on the map, but the huge flaw that wasn’t changed was the idea of adding a limit to how many OF ONE OBJECT you can place on the map. Example: Double Boxes- 36 left to use. I’m sorry but… I HATED THAT!!! and I’m not alone on that one. There may be a reasonable explanation to why that is that i haven’t heard of yet, but c’mon… rly? I know this is 343 and 343 is considered to most as “the child of Bungie” (which i believe as well innnnnn some aspects), but please if 343 is the child then please trash that rule that daddy may of passed down. No single object limit would -Yoinking!- IMPROVE FORGE SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH that it would cause mass orgasmic riots throughout the world… of Halo (which is technically most of the world, Bungie rules the planet which means 343 can to, don’t always hate on the new guy, that goes for you, you TROLLSSSSSSSSSS!!!trolls can be cute) anyway yah please 343, no single object limits, just make it so we can use as many as one object on the map as we like (i.e. a map of 1000 fusion coils and u spawn in the middle)

-A quick theater one: it would be awesome to watch film clips with friends

-(This one may to farfetched but you can still dream) Some time in the future it would be cool if 343 found a way to bring back the maps YOU forged in Halo 3 and somehow in some diabolical way transfer them to Halo 4 and play them in Halo 4. 1st 343 would need to bring back all halo 3 maps just like they are, 2nd thing would be to possibly send the files from Bungie.net, or some other way through xbox or some special equipment you can buy, to your computer and convert them to Halo 4 files with Halo 4 texturing, color, realism, etc. If that would be possible, then there would be a -Yoink- ton of happy halo forgers.

-Hopefully 343 will stick with the way screenshots were made in Halo 3 than how they were made in Reach, cause in Reach, u could zoom-in on a rocket explosion and still see the smoke. (I may have cover this but please bare with me if I haven’t bored you to death yet)

-Make MORE special forging maps such as Foundry, Sandbox and Forge World, please.

Well thats about all I can think of for now, I may post more ideas if they pop up but if you are reading this thank you for sticking with me on this one and hopefully i can see some of your guys great ideas.

A little late for that…

even though i probably am, there still is time for changes they can make

No there really isn’t, by now they’re working on a final test build for E3

how long ago was the beta tested?

> how long ago was the beta tested?

IN house beta ONLY / and not sure how long they have been playing HALO 4 with out us.

idk either but i saw on the update thing that Anoj did on youtube (which was a month ago) and from what he said that 343 didn’t have forge made yet (and maybe theater as well) and that it was the last thing they were working on.
