Look. I’m old school. I grew up with LAN parties and got into video games before the days of XBL. I bought this title at launch and left it because of the obvious problems. Question now is, since I’m playing again. First, how the hell can you chose a H4 map over anything. And second, why are the friggen hotboxes on H3 such -Yoink- H3s gunplay, compared to H2 is such a step back… Let’s discuss
I personally wasn’t around for the OG Halo 3 days, but yeah, I’ve seen a ton of people on here testify that the hit detection in MCC H3 is all kinda messed up compared to the original, possibly due to the 60fps… in SWAT the effect of that only gets worse. That’s why I’m kinda glad when H3 doesn’t get voted in SWAT.
I personally do prefer when H2 gets voted because I suck and the extreme bullet magnetism means I can actually hit stuff, LOL.

I’m sorry you missed such a great era and community. Yes, MCC is a little screwy when it comes to Halo 3. On the original game it was way better.
Halo 3 swat is unfair, I went 30 kills 4 deaths in H4 a couple days ago, because the hit boxes are fair.
The H3 hitboxes in MCC are pretty terrible I’ll agree with that. If you pay attention closely you can notice that your BR shots don’t register correctly like they’re supposed to. Most of your headshots will be considered as body shots and that’s the flaw in the system.
Halo 2 was hitscan, Halo 3 wasn’t.

I agree
