I think it would be nice to see a ranked playlist for swat ¯_(ツ)_/¯ maybe halo 3 with the anniversary
This would be cool as a rotational playlist. I support it.
I agree with both of the above. SWAT is a great mode. The majority of my Halo 3 matchmaking time was in SWAT.

I don’t understand rotational ranked playlists. Let’s just say SWAT is ranked for 1-2 months on MCC, and you grind for that 50 and attain it. Once it rotates out, your 50 disappears. You’re essentially playing a social playlist. Since the current halo 2 ranking system is in the game, the highest rank is current highest skill, not highest skill achieved like halo 3 was. Therefore, your 50 would no longer show on your service record (assuming SWAT is your highest skill), and the month of grinding was for nothing. If we decide to bring in ranked playlists, they need to be permanent, or change the ranking system (Which is already in the works).
Why just halo 3? That game is backwards compatible so why not play there?

Because Halo 3 is no longer being maintained by 343. The game only has a few hundred players, and it’s full of modders. It’s also an eyesore to play halo 3 at 30FPS when MCC runs it at 60FPS.
