i dont play halo 3 since the last year i want to buy a new xbox live gold membership i just want to know if actually people still playing it
I just returned to it myself. Usually a few hundred people to a couple of thousand online at any given time. Getting into a social slayer game never takes any time at all, ranked team slayer and lone wolves is kind of a tossup on whether you’ll spend 30 seconds or five minutes waiting for a game to be matched up.
All the other games though (objective based), I can never seem to find anyone playing them.
Good, cuz I still need a double kill with a splazer in FFA ranked
Every once in a while, I occasionally hop into Halo 3 to enjoy some ranked FFA or Social Slayer. Truth be told, matchmaking finds me matches quite fast.
halo 3 on mcc sucks but 360 custom games was my gold mine but no one plays halo 3 that much anymore id be lucky to find someone playing omega journey
I hope Halo 3 gets some population with the backwards compatibility, although Halo 5 will be out and take some of the crowd more than likely.
The game is 8 years or so old. Its flame is dying. There are still some hardcore fans playing, but not all that many. On one hand, the release of Halo 5 my completely finish of Halo 3’s run by taking all of its players away. However, on the other hand, if they already been sticking with Halo 3 for this long, disregarding Halo: Reach and Halo 4 then perhaps Halo 3 online will continue to limp on. Who knows.
I think backwards compatibility will bring the population up by a good bit. Probably to where Reach is at right now, which is actually pretty good.
Pretty much every DLC playlist has low to no people with only non DLC playlists(Lone Wolf, Team Slayer, Social Slayer & Multi-team) seems to be the most populated last time I check last week.
I miss the days when Rumble Pit & Action Sack had good populations
It’s pretty hard to find a match !
