Halo 3 stat tracking would go a long way

I didnt do any reasearch on this but is there any reason why 343 doesnt track Halo 3 stats other than the fact Bungie made the game? In the playlists player searching numbers Halo 3 is just as populated at halo 4 id totally go all out playing halo 3 again if they tracked stats ive just been playing some social games for fun but would wanna play more if i could see my stats.

btw im excited for Halo 5 as long as theres a ranking system 1-50 and simplified like halo 3. Halo 4 was a great game but not on the level of fun ive had playing halo 3.

I wanted those stats to be tracked for a long time. I didn’t have live with my current gamertag until like 2010. I hit my prime in Halo 3 post stats being tracked. I’d like to see what I accomplished in that time but I’ll never be able to. I was thinking about getting back into Halo 3 soon, it’ll just stink not having a record of anything if I do hit my prime again. But then again how many games can they track stats for at a time? I doubt they’d ever start taking Halo 3 stats.

343 don’t have the same system, complex system Bungie had to track stats for Halo 3. And it wasn’t part of the change over either. This is why HaloTracker no longer tracks stats for Halo 3 either. I’m afraid you are now stuck with the simple stats you find here on Waypoint from now on.

To my knowledge, everything Bungie was tracking, 343 are doing the same but aren’t displaying it to the extent Bungie were.

HaloTracker have access to the API tracking that 343 use for Halo games so they can update player stats on the site. They said ages ago that they can no longer track Halo 3, since the API system is no longer available, hence why only minimal stats for Halo 3 and complete stats for Halo Reach and Halo 4 are displayed.

Along the same lines, is there anywhere to utilize screenshot file shares with Halo 3 and ODST?
