Skull: Blind
Skull Efect
You lose your HUD when this skull is turned on. You won’t be able to see your weapons, shield and ammo indicators and you won’t be able to see your radar or the weapon you’re holding when this skull is turned on.
Campaign Scoring Multiplier: None
The Blind Skull is located near the start of the first level, Sierra 117.
After you encounter the first enemy in the game (the Gold Armored Brute), two enemy drop ships will appear a bit further down the stream. Go towards the drop ship that is furthest away, and stay on the right side of the stream. Continue along the right (towards the cliff edge), and you will find a rock that juts out a bit over the large lake. The Skull is located on this rock.
Peace Tobondermites!!!

Skull: Iron
Skull Effect:
On Solo, if you die you have to restart from the beginning of the level. On Co-op, if one player dies all players have to restart from the last checkpoint.
Campaign Scoring Multiplier: 3x
The Iron Skull is located near the end of the first level, Sierra 117.
It is located on the ledge of the building behind the one where Sgt.Johnson is being held captive.
You can get on to the ledge from the far right side of the building, where the ledge ends and meets the water, from here you can easily get on to the ledge. Once on the ledge walk to the far left end of the ledge and you will find the Skull concealed in the corner.
Peace Tobondermites!!!

Skull: Black Eye
Skull Effect:
The only way you can recharge your shields is by landing melee attacks on your opponents.
Campaign Scoring Multiplier: 1.5x
The Black Eye Skull is located at the start of the second level, Crows Nest.
It is located in the room that you start in and is on the pipe that is hanging down from the ceiling above you. It is on the end of the pipe that is nearest to the large computer display (the one that Lord Hood appears on).
You can get on to the pipe by jumping onto the mesh cabinet at the far end of the room (the end opposite from the one with the large computer display). From on top of the cabinet you can then jump onto the red iron bar just under the pipe and then from here onto the pipe itself. Walk down to the end of the pipe and you will find the Skull.
Peace Tobondermites!!!

Skull: Grunt Birthday Party
Skull Effect:
When you get a head shot on an enemy Grunt, they will explode into confetti, and you’ll hear children cheer, “Yay!” in excitement.
Campaign Scoring Multiplier: None
The Grunt Birthday Party Skull is located near the middle of the second level, Crows Nest.
The Skull is located in the area just before where you team up with the Arbiter (it’s the piping area where you see Drones buzzing in and out of various of pipes).
Just before you jump down the pipe to meet up with the Arbiter, stop at the ledge, and look directly below you. Along the wall that you drop down, there is a small ledge with a green arrow pointing backwards. Jump onto this ledge (rather than all the way down), and you will end up on the edge of a secret room. The Skull is at the end of this room.

Skull: Tough Luck
Skull Effect:
All of your enemies will dive with incredible success away from your grenades, plasma pistol bolts, needles and vehicle splatter attempts.
Campaign Scoring Multiplier: 1.5x
The Tough Luck Skull is located near the middle of the third level, Tsavo Highway.
The Skull is located at the point in the level where you emerge from a tunnel and a huge covenant cruiser flies overhead. On the left there is some large piping following the road that you are driving on.
Underneath this piping are some support beams that extend out over a cliff. Jump onto the first of these beams, and travel to the end of it. Look to your left, and the Skull will be sitting on a rock extending from the edge of the cliff.
Peace Tobondermites!!

Skull: Catch
Skull Effect:
Enemy units will throw grenades at an alarming rate.
Campaign Scoring Multiplier: 1.5x
The Catch Skull is located near the middle of the fourth level, The Storm.
The Skull is located in the area where you need to destroy the first Anti-Air Wraith Tank. When you enter this area, do not destroy either of the Wraith Tanks (The skull appears when the Tanks appear, and disappears when the Tanks are destroyed). The Skull is located on top of the circular building next to the Anti-Air Tank.
You can easily get on to the roof parking a Warthog against the building and then grenade jumping from on top of it. Or on 2 player co-op, get one person to stand on the Warthog and then the second can jump up onto the building off that persons head.
It is a good idea to destroy all of the Ghosts in the area and snipe the gunners out of the Wraiths before trying to jump up.

Skull: Fog
Skull Effect:
Your motion tracker is disabled.
Campaign Scoring Multiplier: 1.5x
The Fog Skull is located near the start of the fifth level, Floodgate.
As you are walking down from the anti-air gun you destroyed in the previous level, you will encounter a ramp (next to a missile launcher). Around this ramp, you hit a checkpoint. At this point, you should also hear a marine on the radio saying, “All squads, report”.
You have a small window of opportunity at this point, but it is fairly easy to get the Fog Skull. Look up, and to the right, directly at the roof of the building next to the missile launcher. There is a single flood form which is holding the skull. Kill him before he jumps, and he will drop the skull down to the ground where you can retrieve it. If you kill him too early, and the skull will get stuck on the roof though, so just time it carefully.
Peace Tobondermites!!!

Skull: Famine
Skull Effect:
When enemies drop their weapons, they will have considerably less ammo in them.
Campaign Scoring Multiplier: 2x
The Famine Skull is located near the middle of the sixth level, The Ark.
The Skull is located near the point where the path you follow branches off into two sections (one leading to the area where you need to let the tanks across the bridge, and the other leading towards the area where you meet up with the frigate).
Take the right path, as you would if you were completing the mission, and you’ll notice a structure above you to the left (above the area where you encounter a few ghosts). You need to scale the rocks to the right of the structure to get onto it (or you can scale the rocks under the structure), and then travel across it so that you pass 3 of the large support beams extending into the cliffs. Inside of the fourth support beam, lies the Skull.
A well pulled off grenade jump should get you up onto the beam. Another (probably easier) way to get on to the beam is to deploy a Deployable Cover on the edge of the platform just under the beam and then jumping off the Deployable Cover to get onto the beam.
Peace Tobondermites!!

Skull: Cowbell
Skull Effect:
All explosions become much bigger.
Campaign Scoring Multiplier: None
The Cowbell Skull is located near the end of the sixth level, The Ark.
Begin by heading all the way to the part of the level where you battle the Scarab. After defeating it, look in the middle of the desert area in which you battled it in for a fairly large structure.
Inside of this structure are several Gravity Lifts. Take one of these for later. Next, head up the huge ramp, and head inside of the building (as if you were completing the level). You’ll pass through a few of the rooms and corridors until you come to a room filled with lots of Plasma Batteries (shown below).
Right after this room there is a ramp that leads to the level below. In the middle of the ramp there are a series of small compartments, stacked on top of each other, that reach up to the ceiling. The Skull is located on the top most compartment.
This is where you need to use the Gravity Lift you picked up earlier. Place the Gravity Lift on the ramp so that it is angled and will fire you up to the top compartment diagonally. When you’re in mid-air, crouch, and move into the top compartment where you can then pick up the Skull.
Or another (possibly easier) way to get to the Skull in 2 player co-op is to have both players grab a Gravity Lift. Then when you reach the ramp, have one person deploy their Gravity Lift on the flat area just below/in front of the compartment containing the Skull. Then have the other person deploy their Gravity Lift on top of the previous one, so that it is floating in mid-air.
Now when you go onto the Gravity Lifts, they will send you to the ceiling and all you have to do is crouch and move forward into the compartment containing the Skull.
Peace Tobondermites!!
Loved finding the Halo 3 skulls back in the day!
Grunt Birthday Party was always my favorite.

(sorry for taking a while to get back)
Skull: Thunderstorm
Skull Effect:
Each enemy receives a field promotion and is upgraded to their next available level.
Campaign Scoring Multiplier: 1.5x
The Thunderstorm Skull is located near the middle of the seventh level, The Covenant.
The Skull is located in the part of the level after you take command of one of the Hornets. Fly towards the second force field generator (the one the Arbiter disabled), and land. The skull is located at the very end of the ramp that extends out over the sea.
Peace Tobondermites!!

Skull: IWHBYD (I would have been your daddy)
Skull Effect:
Unlocks hidden dialogue throughout Halo 3’s campaign.
Campaign Scoring Multiplier: None
The IWHBYD Skull is located at the end of the seventh level, The Covenant.
The Skull is located in the large hallway with the 7 Ring Holograms and the Prophet of Truth. First fight your way through the hallway and kill the Prophet of Truth as you normally would to complete the level.
After you have killed Truth, head back through the hallway and kill all of the Flood but don’t jump down the hole you normally would to complete the level. Instead, you have to go back into the hallway and jump through the Halo Ring Holograms in a specific order to make the Skull appear.
That order is as follows (1 being by the entrance, 7 being by the bridge to Truth):
4 6 5 4 5 3 4
To help coordinate the jumping through the rings, the ring with the red sections in it is ring 4.
When you jump through the final halo, the rings will start lighting up in a linear fashion. The Skull will have appeared on the bridge to Truth where the control panel for the bridge used to be. When you grab the skull, all of the rings will start playing the main Halo Theme Song.
Peace Tobondermites!!

Skull: Tilt
Skull Effect:
Enemy resistance is greatly increased. For example, the Brute power armor is normally pretty resistant to human weapons to begin with and fairly fragile against plasma shots. With Tilt turned on, the Brute armor is practically 100% resistant to any human projectiles and can only be taken down by plasma bursts.
Campaign Scoring Multiplier: 2x
The Tilt Skull is located near the middle of the eighth level, Cortana.
The Skull is located in the circular room where Cortana says, “You like to play games? So do I”. It’s a bit difficult to get to, as it requires precise jumping to get on top of the ceiling of the room.
When you enter the room, go towards the left side of the room. Here you will see a pedestal, with an arrow pointing up on it, coming out of the floor and some mushroom shaped platforms along the wall.
Jump on to the pedestal and then jump onto the first platform that is located to left and above you. Then jump up onto the bigger platform located straight in front of you. Now once you’re on top of this platform, turn around and you’ll see the next platform you have to jump onto. To prevent yourself from hitting the ceiling in this next jump and being knocked back down, move right to the edge of the platform you’re standing on and aim to jump onto the right side of the next platform.
Once on the last platform it’s a simple matter to jump onto the big Flood tentacle and walk across to the ceiling of the room where the Skull lies in the center.
Peace Tobondermites!!

Skull: Mythic
Skull Effect:
Every enemy on the field now has double their normal amount of health.
Campaign Scoring Multiplier: 2x
The Mythic Skull is located near the start of the ninth level, Halo.
Begin by heading into the canyon, but stick the right wall. Very soon, you will notice that there is a turn to the right that is off the normal trail. Head a bit down this path, and the Skull will be sitting next to some rocks in the fog.
Peace Tobondermites!!!
Not that useful and some skulls lack details, while Catch make the A.I. throw a grenade at pretty much each opportunity the said grenades travel through the air faster.
Grunt Birthday Party, following his roots from Halo 2 add a damaging area of effect with the confettis and this can trigger grenades on the ground and harm other things, the grenade part shouldn’t be ignored if bodies are lying on the ground, this was already dangerous in Halo 2 with Catch and Sputnik but it’s all the same in Halo 3.
Cowbell don’t increase the area of effect but explosions have an easier time pushing stuff but they aren’t more damaging in any way.

I was giving away the locations,
I wanted to give them a little bit of surprise
(unlike on my news channel in which every last monoclin of my knowledge is poured out)
Keep an eye out if you want to complain about my Terminal Halo 3 guide
