I’ve noticed when I turned halo 3 skins on my first game is usually fine, then my second game in the beginning of the match always crashes. I think the skins crash my xbox. I hope this gets fixed in the new update. Sadly I now avoid playing team related halo 3 matches because when I do start a game with skins off and zero crashes, my games start with half or only me in my team. I think this is due to people having skins crashing their games in the beginning also.
I know this is something I should write a ticket for and have 343 look into it, but I’m sure they already know about it. Just playing team halo 3 with nobody on my team multiple times the other day made me think maybe people don’t know what’s crashing their Xbox… now you do. Spread the word or correct me if I’m wrong on my theory.

Which version of console are you running? Series X/S? One X? One S? Original?

Yo this literally happened to me, but I didn’t think it was the skins cuz i rarely use them because of heavy aim. Good points here. I think everyone might have the problem.
Disabling Skins will prevent the game from Crashing, I had to do it with mine cause it was starting to get annoying

I would imagine that means my console’s life is coming to an end but I THINK this happens on the other versions as well (I could be wrong).

At this point it seems something might be corrupted with your game and the best course of action would be contacting support with a ticket as stckrboy suggests. It will also inform the team that it is happening so they can attempt to recreate the bug and narrow down the cause.

If it’s my game that’s corrupt then I must not be alone. 343 should already see this in their own data. That data being halo 3 teams starting off with teammates missing from games. I’ll test if they fixed it in future updates like season 7.
