Halo 3 (Sierra 117) coding glitches.

Is there going to be any update-like support for Halo 3? I know 343i have everything about Halo 3. But since an update via Bungie, Sierra 117 (first playable level) has had this glitch for a while now where you come to the very end as the Phantom explodes, it lags like hell with coding glitches for about 10-15 seconds. This is obviously a minor but it just ruins the first time you see a Phantom explode - An amazing animation and add in to Halo.

They should bring back the Halo 3 Phantom exploding animation for Halo 4 ;]

We’re getting one playlist consolidation update for Halo 3, sometime after Halo 4 launches, but that’s about it, no planned support other than that.

So I guess the only way to play Vanilla is on a offline-only xbox.

It’s not the explosion. It’s that the Phantom is unlike other vehicles (it goes through objects), going through the bridge when it’s being destroyed and it’s debris gets stuck in it.

It’d be great if 343 could move the Phantom elsewhere (and stop the Pelican from shooting at infantry because it’s not fun being indiscriminately killed by it) though it’s unlikely there will ever be support for Halo 3 campaign. :confused: The least they could do is release on PC so modders can make program tools for the campaign.

Oh ‘em Gee. Please tell me that by “Playlist Consolidation” you mean there’s a chance you’ll re-arrange some the Maps/Gametypes per Playlist so we can get the Achievements without issues. Getting the Infection ones were a Living(Dead)Hell. The Lone Wolves-Specific ones, too… If 343i Isn’t willing to set the Achievements to Non-LW Only, then at least they should elevate the number of players per lobby or let Guests play Lone Wolves, too. But It’s technically Impossible to get a Triple Kill with a Sword (Steppin’ Razor) or an Overkill when you barely get the Sword Playlist; With lag most of the time, and with Lobbies consisting of 4-5 Players (Almost every single time, sometimes you get all players, which is 6, and is still a very low amount of players).

It is a consolidation, removing playlists that are low populated, which I would guess is Action Sack and Team Mythic.
