Not sure if anyone else on this forum has experienced this, but I’ve noticed specifically in Halo 3 that sometimes the BR will not register whatsoever. Longest. BR. Battles. Ever. I know for sure that I am not only one experiencing this issue because I’ve asked people in chat and they say it happens to them every once in awhile too. This is demoralizing to those of us that have a good BR.
Anyone else experience this? I am voicing my concern because I didn’t see anything mentioned about it in the latest update thread.
I know that it’s different. I’ve got months of total game time wrapped up in both games. It doesn’t register in instances even when you don’t need to lead your shots. Some parameters are off somewhere.
So I guess nobody else is having this problem with Halo 3? I played H3 back in the day and the shots never blatantly just didn’t register unless you weren’t leading your shots properly.
Well I have been in a few halo 3 games were it will lag and I have decent connection and my friends never lag in Halo 3, I have read on the forums that other people have this issue too. Each game has its own problem, I think it the issue lies there. That is my opinion.
I feel I am having to lead my shots a lot more with the BR to get a hit - Not nearly as bad as Halo 2 classic though - I was in utter disbelief and some of the games where i am sniping people in the head clearly and nothing is registering - Literally people standing still, i line up and fire and nothing , only happens sometimes though but when it does - they can snipe me NO PROBLEM!

This happens in H3 but it also happens in H2 on MCC… Mind you the old games use to play waaaaay better… Next time you’re not host playing H2 count how many headshots you need on a moving target. I actually DVR some clips… It’s really odd. Same goes for H3 in MCC. Trust me, BR’s in H3 weren’t that inaccurate(However the old H2 BR is better.), this is coming from a guy who lvl50 in Team slayer, and double team.

Yep, I was gonna start a thread about this… The beam rifle is even worse than the human sniper rifle… I played a lot of H2 team snipers and man, it’s like a completely different game.

its on all the playlists espicialy halo 2 anniversary playlist its from match lag due to server instablity my nat type is open and i can tell yeah i aitn getting lag on my pc or on other games on my xbox one just on halo only hate to say this but due to this i feel cheated on my stats and on normal circumstances im a good player my stats on the origional halo 4 and halo reach can tell you that (that was on my old account) however with the current issues its no wonder why i have 0.525 K/D ratio
Yeah man the registration is absolutely terrible, every time I’ve played a Halo 3 Big Team Battle match I swear I’m shooting someone 100 times and it never registers, as if the bullets just disappear - so then I go and check the theatre replay, and see that I 100% aimed perfectly fine and the game was completely malfunctioning. I guess we are just gonna have to wait until they fix the servers up some more before the game wants to start working at all.

Yes! I thought I was going crazy. I’ve had snipe shots miss and I know they should’ve hit. I’m not trying to brag but I was an amazing sniper in the halo 2 days and now I can definitely tell shots don’t register right. And the br is also not working right in halo 2 either. Br battles take way too long and I see way to many people escape from me and I know they should’ve died. I thought I lost my ability to play but after loading up some custom halo 2 games on 360 with some friends I know now that something is off in the mcc.

Yeah the beam rifle will miss if they are standing still lol. I almost don’t even bother to pick it up cause it will just make me mad.

Same for me, I’m to the point where I won’t pick up the beam rifle. I thought I was going crazy haha this needs a fix!
