No the boosting I’m referring to to get the achievement. No one plays Halo 3. So getting this legit is possible. There are communities built upon collecting achievements. you literally said on your post that you couls get banned for it if not done correctly. If you could get banned for it you clearly are boosting the achievement.

It is a widely used term within the TA community. And amongst other communities. There is nothing wrong with coordinating people who want to collect achievements.

well i recently got it so how are you saying its impossible? Go into FFA and be better than everyone else. There you go you’ve unlocked the achievement legit.

We are talking about a specific achievement here. With certain requirements. Your response does not help me with this 10 year old achievement. I unlock many of my achievements legit. Boosting means bringing a bunch of achievement enthusiasts together to get the achievement we all want. FFA has nothing to do with this.

you’re talking about unlocking an achievement in which you must be good at the game to get. you’re basically trying to boost your rank along with the achievement since you need to reach a certain rank before it unlocks. like i said, if you want to earn the rank and achievement legit you should go into FFA and be better than everyone else and thats it.

Rumble pit is dead half the time. Anyway I’m halfway through this achievement in another playlist. I’m not putting it back to 0. Getting this with people is much quicker if it’s coordinated. Loads of people do this. Sometimes they have too, due to the lack of players. At the end of the day, everyone in the session is happy as they have achieved what they are after.

The penalty for boosting with extra controllers in H3 is a two week xp ban. Considering I’m not using extra controllers, I wouldn’t call this boosting. It just coincidentally happened that all the players in the match wanted this achievement. If the system can’t detect it, it’s not boosting.

still boosting since you’re boosting your xp in the game. go look at the “WHY DID I GET BANNED - THE OFFICIAL THREAD” one of the things is skill, exp, and cr boosting. you are exp boosting. as well as purposely boosting single person achievements in a game is bannable.

I’m not having this debate anymore. I made this thread for people who want to join. Also I checked your achievements, seems like you got a lot of achievements on the 19/06/2016 for Halo 3. Knowing the game was dead back then, I wouldn’t have thought it would be possible to get the once in a lifetime longshore to pop legitimately. Also what a coincidence you got 14 of the most difficult multiplayer achievements all on the very same day. Don’t deny you got these the achievement hunter wat. Coming from someone who has days in the MCC multiplayer and Halo 5, I can smell when someone has boosted.

so because i played with my friends you’re saying i boosted them? i have 3 accounts with live and 3 360s with the dlc on all 3. not my fault that my friends haven’t played halo 3 much and that i managed to get a bunch of the achievements by killing them in game when 8 of us were in multiplayer together at my place.

Yet they have not been shut down. This is harmless boosting. Everyone who signs up is willing to get the achievement. Boosting in a malicious way is bad. I’m assuming you meant to say its impossible, but no, you are demonstrably wrong. I did most of the dlc achievements for this account last year and they were done 100% legit. Team Mythic, Rumble Pit and Lone Wolves are all you really need to earn every achievement in h3, and all of them still have players if you search at the right time, especially on the weekends.

Again, no, its not dead. The population is greatly reduced but all the playlists you need to earn every achievement in the game still get populated, especially on weekends.
What is truly sad about this is that for “Spartan Officer” you don’t even need any special playlist. Social slayer will work just fine for this achievement. If you play long enough you are guaranteed to get it, and there is ALWAYS a match to be found in social slayer, even at 4am on a Wednesday morning. It’s pathetic you need to get a bunch of people from the internet to boost such an easy achievement. Doncut97 is right, you should get better at the game and get it for real.

You don’t need Rumble pit for this. It can be done in social slayer and I guarantee you will never wait more than 5 mins for a game, no matter what time it is. And yeah, I imagine cheating does make it quicker to get, but what’s the point of an achievement if you didn’t actually… achieve anything???

What the hell are you even talking about? Longshore pops up legit in Social Slayer all the time. Which you would know if you actually played this game instead of cheating at it.

Lol, do you even read what you’re writing dude? Also, the penalty for getting caught boosting achievements in this game is having your gamer score for h3 reset to 0. I’ve known other cheaters like yourself who thought they were being so clever, until one day they log on to find that they have earned 0 achievements all the sudden on h3.
People like you are a whole different breed. I can’t even say what I actually think about individuals such as yourself on this site as it would break multiple rules, so I’ll just end with a question. Does it really feel worthwhile to you to take the time doing this, knowing that you are nowhere near skilled enough to actually do these legit?
