Halo 3 Remaster?

  • Yes, that would be badass.
  • No
  • I would play it more than Infinite.

Since Halo 3 is going offline in January wouldn’t it be dope if we got a remaster? Why stop at Halo 2? There’s so many things you can add to make it feel new and classic at the same time.

The hidden skulls throughout campaign can be placed elsewhere so we can begin a new hunt. And maybe an even more stealthy version of Hayabusa :eyes:

New maps with H3 style design. Or just 1 new map big enough to fit over 50 players for some type of battle royale game mode. Or both?

Wayy more armors but keep the customization style the same (helmet, shoulders, body). Plain and simple. The plethora of armor we could choose from will compensate for the simple and limited customization options. Balance.

Nameplates. While nameplates were a thing in H3 they were extremely rare. Either reserved for Bungie employees or were nearly impossible to obtain. This would be nice to include since every other Halo already has it.

And at last but not least, Ranks. Keep the ranks they way they are. Untouched. This simple progression system of +1 / -1 xp per match depending if you win or lose is by far one of the best in my opinion. It keeps people motivated to reach 5 Star General since it feels more rewarding than just getting guaranteed xp for both losing and winning games.

Would you want a remake? What’s one feature that would reel you in to download a Halo 3 remaster if it were added into the game?

I can safely say, that the only Remastered thing I want from Halo 3, is the campaign. There is no need to remaster a games MP that is already so well preserved(albeit many issues still exist in the MCC port). I would love though to get the SP remastered with Blur Cutscenes as that is visually the only part where the original game has not aged well, Human Characters look AWFUL.

I second that. The campaign is what would flourish in a remaster. Maybe getting a remastered forge for halo 3 would be cool, just to see the maps updated and to be able to mess around with new tools and the like.
