Halo 3 remaster on Slipspace

Out of morbid curiosity, I’d love to see a quick and dirty remaster of Halo 3 on the new engine. That would be interesting to see and play.

I’m gonna wait to see what an actual game in the engine looks like first to want a H3 remake. H3 still looks great so I probably wouldn’t want one till probably 20 years from its launch, depending on how much better games look compared to now.

I’m hoping 343 surprises us with a Halo 3 Remaster, we already have CE and 2. Could it be the reason why Halo 3 is going to be released towards the end? One can dream lol

I really really hope so. Although I love all campaigns (except halo 5… some fun levels but the squad mechanic and horrible writing ruined it) Halo 3 is the one me n my friends jump into the most just to play through a few levels. Its a terrific example of what to do in the third act of a trilogy. Keep the story streamlined, epic but still personal and the action never stops. Love the artstyleof halo 3 and would def pay good dollars to see it updated to 2019 graphics

What would u pay for a 4k slipspace remaster of halo 3 in mcc? And how many maps would u want remastered at that price?..

Should I make a poll?

I would defently pay for a Halo 3 Anniversary DLC in MCC made in the new SlipSpace engine

I mean the Halo 2 Anniversary cutscenes are awesome as hell, would love to have those kind of cutscenes in Halo 3.

Remastering a Halo game purely for better graphics isn’t smart. It will look cool and get a lot of hype for all of like 5 minutes and then no one will really care about it. The original Halo 3 and Halo 3 MCC both have every feature one could want from a game. CE and H2 both didn’t have anywhere to play online, for example, which is why they got remastered. Additionally, they were both from before the HD era so giving them fresh graphics made a lot of sense. Halo 3 still looks good so it doesn’t need one. You could keep remaking games in every new engine all you want, but does that really make any sense from a business and resource standpoint?
