Halo 3, being one of the most fun and enjoable fps game on its time, is one of the main reasons why halo is one of the best fps games and a “xbox saver”. I dont know by you guys, but I think that Halo 3 remaster is a good idea, bringing it back to the new gen graphics will bring back long time halo fans. I KNOW IT WAS ON HALO MCC, but imagine see the halo 3 gorgeous locations in new beautiful graphics, I think would be a great idea make halo 3 remaster like halo 1 remaster (not the graphics) but give to us a map pack with the game to Halo 5 like the map pack of Halo 1 to Reach. What you think ?
For a purchase price of $40 like they did for HCEA I would buy a remastered Halo 3 in a heartbeat.
I would buy it, but I simply do not think that they need to make it. It would make sense for halo 1 and 2 because they were on the original xbox and were outdated. However, there would be no reason to remaster halo 3, odst, reach, and 4 because their visuals are still up to par with current graphics.

While I think Halo 3 graphics still hold up after 9 years now, they could most certainly be redone. The cutscenes from Halo 3 are when you can really see the graphics are not on par. Also Halo 3 uses rendered models for the cutscenes that is why they really show the graphics up close.
I would honestly pay full price for a remastered Halo 3. Where I loved the story, even at launch I was truly pissed at how horrendous the graphics were for human faces, especially in comparison to the first COD Modern Warfare. It left such a bad taste in my mouth that I never even touched Halo 3 again until after Halo 4. I realized then that the game itself was excellent, but those graphics…
Especially after seeing what blur did for H2A, I would love to see AT LEAST new cutscenes. I, like many of you, binge played the first 4 games right before the release of H5. It was kind of sad when the climactic scenes of Johnson’s & Keyes’ death were done in such a cartooney way, sandwiched between the gorgeous H2A and H4.

No I hated that about Halo CE Anniversary. Halo CE multiplayer would have been great on its own. Because of it we will never play Halo CE multiplayer with decent modern graphics.
