Halo 3 remake, and title of topic must be at least 15 characters for some stupid reason. :P

I was playing Halo 3 campaign again these days. Idk for how many times. I played the game since it originally came out way back on XBOX 360.
And that’s just it. Graphics look dated for todays standards and I would really like to see this game get a remake for XBOX Series and PC. I think it’s time. Anyone else?

If it was going to happen it would have been 3 years ago when we hit the game’s 10th anniversary. It didn’t happen then, I doubt it will happen now. With Halo 3 mod tools I have no doubt the community will be putting out a lot of campaign mods if you really want to mix it up. And speak for yourself, Halo 3 has outstanding graphics for the time period and still looks pretty good today.

Not sure if it would happen now or not, maybe at the 20th anniversary, but I’d absolutely love it to be for sure. If Halo 2 Anniversary is anything to go by, and that was released in 2014, imagine how great a Halo 3 Anniversary would look. Also I think the reason titles have to be of a certain length is to help combat spam such as people using misleading/poorly descriptive one word titles (like: Question) or random singular emojis etc.

They want topic titles to be something that clearly describes what the topic is about. It’s difficult to do that with less tthan 15 characters.

Longer titles also helps in finding existing threads to go in the list that displays on the right when you compose a new topic.

Honestly, the only thing I think that needs updating is the cutscenes. Next year is Halo 3’s 15th anniversary, so maybe 343i will surprise us with Blur cutscenes, who knows?

I would love a remake like H2A’s, but I actually think 3 has aged really well in terms of graphics. It’s still a beautiful looking game with a great aesthetic.

Well ofc it has aged better than H 1 & 2. It was a game for new console after all. But so much could be improved these days in terms of graphics. It’s one of those situations where people think the game looks great until they see just how much it can be improved. But Bungie was much better at creating interesting levels and making them look much bigger than they really are with great looking vistas.
