LOL the title suggest that Reach is -2 but enough joking to the subject. All the things listed below are just examples of what mixing these together could be not what i demand 343i should do.
I just don’t understand why so many people don’t enjoy the new Halo’s gaemplay. I don’t mind it and if you take away sprint it isn’t at all like COD. So what i have to say is adopt a new type of gameplay.
Also add health back that seems to add more into map control and makes it so people just can’t hod on in one place that would be considered cheap without a price.
I having loadouts are good but lets put them to how they were in Reach. Take away sprint, because that seems to be the only true reason as to why so many people say Halo resembles COD. IDKY. But i feel like that so far has been Halo’s down fall. But don’t entirely remove it. In case someone would want it in custom games or for gametypes in or make it an AA that we can’t just get so easily like in Reach. No more canon matchmaking. That is silly and restricts the Valhalla aspect that Halo has always had. Add equipment back. Keep tactical and support packages to support the new loadout system. Different loadouts may mean different weapons along with passive powers. So in a game of slayer. Loadouts could be AR and Magnum but the other will have the same thing just different passive abilities. So i think this is a fitting setting for future Halos.
AA’s
Hardlight shield 2.0 or Armor Lock 2.0. I my self see the hardlight shield to be awkwardly useless in Multiplayer. It is like the riot shield. So if we want to take COD elements away so it must go and be replaced with a new version of Armor Lock. Armor lock 2.0 would like the first but far more vulnerable. Can’t be activated unless you have shields coming out of it drains all shields and recharge rate is x3 as slow. Also the shield is a layer not a skin so if stuck. Well you just doomed yourself even more now. You do not become invincible it only giving you an instant layer of over shields. Also to sue Armor Lock 2.0 while you have overshield will result in shielding over charge and BOOM! Human grenade the second your fist hits the ground. No harm will come to foes for the Armor Lock takes it. Also Armor Lock 2.0 doesn’t drain hostiles shields and can be used while in vehicles. to protect ones self. But like i said above when you come out of it your shields will be gone. Hardlight 2.0 just adds more shielding around the edges covering your sides. It drains as it is shoot and like armor lock 2.0 when hit by a vehicles it is as if it rammed into a wall. Not a bomb.
Evade or Thruster Pack 2.0- One of these two things should replace sprint. Instead of sprinting Spartans or Elites would just burst in one direction. I would say Thruster Pack fires Spartans as far as sprint runs but that is a long way so a quarter that it runs same for evade.
Hologram-343i did this AA so much jutice that i nearly cried when i found out it could t-bag to distract foes and shows them red on the motion tracker.
Jet Pack-Think Mandalorians
Promethean Vision or Visor- Differences is that Visor won’t be as to see foes as well as Promethean vison. Visor will only show the outline of your foe from a distance and as they get closer ir will be more clear.
Equipment-
Bubble Shield
Energy Drain
Flare
Radar Jamar
Auto Sentry( aka sentinel like i Halo 3)
Regeneration Field
Trip Mine
Deployable Cover
Gravity Lift
Hostile A.I. will use AA’s and equipment as well.
Thoughts? On mixing 3, Reach and 4 to make 5. All of these things are just examples.
I would rather see:
Halo 2’s: Ranking system with Halo 3 progressive levels of each rank
Halo 2’s player speed as this was one of the better strafing modes by default. No Sprint
Halo 3’s Power Up and Timing System
Reaches’ Weapon Set, the DMR has it’s place but not with an extra 15M of zoom like H4, but H4’s BR
If they want Armor Abilities or Items, make them map spawns, 1 or 2 a map at MAX.
Halo 2 map styles were hands down the best across all Halos
Oddball back to the way it was, die and it FALLs, none of this throwing crap
> I don’t mind it and if you take away sprint it isn’t at all like COD.
Perks, killstreaks, loadouts.
> Also add health back that seems to add more into map control and makes it so people just can’t hod on in one place that would be considered cheap without a price.
Eh sure why not.
> Can’t be activated unless you have shields coming out of it, drains all shields and recharge rate is x3 as slow.
So make it completely useless just to bring it back for absolutely no reason?
Armor lock is a completely idiotic concept. Just let it die. Hardlight shield, although still detrimental, is much more balanced.
> Evade or Thruster Pack 2.0-
Thruster Pack’s range is fine as is, wouldn’t mind it as a base trait though. Perhaps slightly increased forwards range.
> Jet Pack-
Is awful. Just remove it. It completely breaks maps that have more than two levels to them, thus all the maps in the game end up being flat.
> Promethean Vision or Visor-
Is also awful.

Eye brow raiser. I forgot to put the power ups above of course they will be how they where in Halo 3. Numbers to how you listed.

HELL YES!
-
Yes, and sprint shouldn’t but should be in Halo but not as alive as it is in Halo 4. Like i said have it as a option but not everywhere. Make it rare.
3.Yes
-
Agreed but i do really enjoy how 343i made weapons have their certain place to but used. That to me should stick to Halo. Also, being super soilders i think we should return to zero bloom for many reasons. One being that apprently Halo 4 MP is canon and that the UNSC weapons don’t have much recoil and spartans are super powerful.
-
Spawns like in Reach would be better for if you get an AA than you die a second later now you have to wait for it to respawn or extract if from your course. But the differences between the AA’s being with the equipment is that AA is with you between death but is a minor helpful boost and equipment is very powerful one time boost.

Agree again Halo 2 Maps were awesome. Hell at this point 343i doesn’t ever need to make new maps. They could all be classics for Halo CE, 2 and 3 having so many great maps. But that would show how little they cared for making new maps. But Halo 2 maps are by far the best if you ask me.
7.Add in all the old gametypes and than fix Oddball. Now if you ask me odd ball feels like it is less dependent on the team. In Certain games let you be able to throw it but others now so much.

Numbering how you listed them.
-
These all are just make for better gameplay. Pretty Much all the legendary online games have them to make the gameplay better.
-
Any reason why you support health in Halo or do you just think it would be a nice thing to have back.
-
It seems i have a typing error. I will fix this, but what i was trying to say was it could only be used if you have shields up. To prevent it from becomes Save the day jay to how it was meant to be used. Stopping massive attacks. The problems i have with Hardlight shields is that, it can stop any form of attack, allows you to move but doesn’t cover your sides. Armor lock 2.0 would hold you in place but giving you a large boost of power to shields. Strong enough to stop heavy weapons but not tank blasts or banshee bombs.
-
Good to see you agree on this.
-
Like i said think Mandalorian. Move fast fly high. Jet Pack is nothing more than a real thruster pack in Halo. What i am suggesting is think like how it is use on large maps that are wide open like sand trap, Ragnarok, Blood Gulch. Make the Jet Pack move at the speed that Thom used it and not just a jump pack.

When you say awful what do you mean. What reasons. I am unclear as to why you don’t like them.
