I’ve just gotten Halo 3 and I’ve been wondering, how alive is the Halo 3 multiplayer? In terms of social playlists.
I’ve been playing halo 3 as well for old times sake. I can find games with about a min of waiting on social slayer in the UK. for ranked if anyone cares, I have to play during the night with about a couple of mins waiting. Its slowly dying. Backwards compat didnt really do anything for the population if im going to be honest.
Usually easy to find social slayer games other than that its not so easy. Lone Wolves works but you have to wait a little while and the game is usually with 4 instead of 6 players. I still have loads of fun on Halo 3 though even though I’m more of a campaign guy.

That’s weird bc I can’t seem to find any matches, social or otherwise

I played a couple days ago and got into a Social Slayer match within 2 minutes and Lone Wolves within 5. I’ll try again later and see if I get into one fast I figured it would be easier now around Christmas with people off work and out of school.
Social Slayer and SWAT are two of the more popular playlists. The only time people ever play Rumble Pit is when I can round up seven other players to jump in and play against each other for a while

That explains a lot, as I can’t find any more matches.
The only social playlist that you’ll ever find a game in is social slayer these days. As far as ranked goes, I can find games in Team Slayer 50 high moderately. Not sure about Lone Wolves, but people say it’s populated.
