Halo 3 population stuck at 2505?

Is this happening to everyone or is it just me because I really want to see just how many people are online.

It is also showing that for me. I can tell you more people than that are online and playing though. I have had a full party for every match this afternoon, which is the first time in a long time for Halo 3.

Probably more than Halo 4

> Probably more than Halo 4

haha yeah

Maybe they should fix it.

Stuck like that for me too. I think it’s significantly more than that though.

Population counter hasn’t worked since servers were switched to Halo: Reach Beta servers back in 2010.

I think it should just say more than the other Halos. I hope that 10k + played though, it could make a point to the franchise about games…

I assume the only way to see the population is through the XBL Activity Chart?

The counter is reading the same for me, but considering Im getting matches faster on Halo 3 then Halo 4, Im fairly confident its off (by a lot).

Not sure on the count, but when ACII went free it was up in the top ten for a bit.

It said 2505 for me all day and many of the play lists even team slayer would say population 0. It’s never been that accurate since the stat hand over.

You think 343 will fix the counter?

The counter works. It just only updates once every 24hrs. So it’s not accurate. You will just have to search the playlist to see if anyone is there.

Halo 3 didn’t have a 24hour-counter. I remember playing back in 2007-2009 and you could see 100k-200k players online. Then you could go to Bungie.net and see that over 1 million players played each day.

All the counters in Halo 3 are wrong now. You can find games in 0 population playlist and before it went free it had a population way higher than 2k around 5-10k.

And if you are pressing “X” they will show you the skill distribution for each playlist. Which I believe is also wrong as the population ranges from 5k-20k in every playlist.

Halo 3 has a 24 hr counter now, I have been playing 3. I didn’t say the counters were accurate, so their are not wrong, just not updated.
