Rumors from -Yoink!- a few months back that Halo 3 is coming to Steam on PC and even in AMD’s drivers there were drivers for halo 3. Interesting news. Hope it happens, but remember, Microsoft will always deny things that aren’t officially announced yet. Not to mention steam had made official pages for each halo game in the original trilogy.

Ha, ha, ha! What? Why do you think the cover to the Xbox one says “Xbox 360 Only”? Halo 1 made it big on console, and with it the Xbox became a big hit. So, they stuck with it. Sorry. Not happening.

They also ported Halo CE and Halo 2 to the PC.
I recall some steam users discovered files pertaining to the Halo trilogy awhile back. Could be a possibility, but MS can always decide against for no reason.

If a Halo 3 PC does happen does that mean they will track the achievements for it on Halo Waypoint as well?

Considering they are ignoring Halo 2 PC entirely, I wouldn’t bet on it.
