What was your favorite Halo 3 ODST level?
Mombasa Streets. Great opening to the game and it created an entirely new Halo campaign experience instead of the standard run-and-gun linear action we’re used. This mission alone lasted throughout the entire game and was almost like it’s own mini free-roam game in itself.
All the other missions in the game were the same linear stuff we were used to. Mombasa Streets went above all that to provide a new experience.
Wuold be the first dutch level, or the Romeo level, or the banshee level, or the last one… I think it would be easier to tell you what was my least favorite level
Prepare To Drop. Best opening ever. Then uplift reserve because of the skybox and the elevator coming down.
All of them. Oh god, the campaign! The story! The characters! AMAZING.
For Reach, Bungie either tried to appeal to those “OH MAH GAWD DIS GAEM HAZ GUNZ N XSPLOZNZ! B3ST GAEM EVR!1!!1!!” people, or they intentionally made a bad game so we wouldn’t miss them and 343 would have an easy time winning over the fan base by fixing up Reach.

ODST was good cause it was so different, last few levels were the best, and Prepare To Drop.

ONI Alpha Site and Mombasa Streets
ODST was great all around.
But I loved the ONI site the best, the tactical retreat while blowing up bridges and getting “cornered” in the building was such an awesome mechanic to play through the first time.
Very Epic.

Well, I did love just roaming around Mombasa Streets. But, I also love the mission where you have to destroy the bridge. They’re all good in their own way, really. However, Mombasa Streets and the bridge stand out to me.
moombasa streets because of the atmosphere of it all, NMPD HQ was another favorites for me because of the holdout choke point areas. and I do love uplift reserve as a 3rd mainly for the last scene Dutch jokes
