i just bought halo 3 and odst and was wondering how to get the recon armour. i heard that 343 gave it to everyone for free but as i just got the gae, are they still doing this. or is this impossible for me to get now! thankyou in advance carnooo

The Vidmasters were a Bungie thing and they weren’t interested in putting the Unlock my Recon button on Waypoint, or couldn’t.
To be fair, think about the people who earned it before ODST, and had that exclusive item look worthless.

I earned my recon before the vid master achievements, still proud

People earned it by having it granted to them by Bungie personally, by either making a cool forge map/screenshot/film clip, youtube video, or beating them at a Humpday Challenge. I got mine through youtube.

I’ve had Halo 3 since launch day and I still don’t have mine… Granted I haven’t played the game in quite a long time… But I still don’t have the armor variant.
