Halo 3: ODST is only free to early adopters (Nov, 11 2014-Dec, 19 2014) of the Halo MCC. I got the Halo MCC and a Xbox one for Christmas (Dec 25), So I’m not getting Halo 3: ODST for free. They’re putting ODST in the Halo MCC as a sorry for releasing a broken game, but I still had a lot issues with Halo MCC after that day (Dec 19) examples: uneven multiplayer lobbies, long wait times in matchmaking, couldn’t join my friends with getting kicked out right when we find a match, achievements not unlocking, campaign crashes, infinite join in progress screen, etc. Why am I not getting it for free? The game wasn’t fixed by Dec 19! I guess the only way I’m going to play ODST is to have to pay $20 or something when it should be free to everyone!
Nothing has been confirmed at the moment as to whether ODST will be available as a paid extra to other players. Still waiting to find out whet 343’s plans are in those regards. Anything other thans what they’ve said is just speculation at this point

Can’t be -Yoinked!- to be honest, couldn’t care less about the one month.
Even without working multiplayer the solo campaigns have given me more than my monies worth.
