I want to say upfront that I have not played this game at all. With no split screen this game went from a day one buy to I will wait for it to go on sale. With that being said, I would like to ask from everyone playing the game that if this was just Halo Guardians and lead up to Halo 5 would there be so much hate? To me from the outside looking in(again I have yet to play it) this just looks like another Halo offshoot game. No master chief as the main character, no split screen, lack of game modes, etc…
So what do you guys think? Would there be this much hate or issues if this was just an awesome Halo Guardians game that let you play a little as master chief and set up the story for Halo 5?
Its Halo 5 Guardians no matter how many times people try to change the fact. Its part of the Forerunner Trilogy of Halo 4-6. It doesn’t matter that we played as Locke most of the time. No split screen, good about time it went. Game modes, wow I guess people can’t read. They said more stuff is coming in December update.

Well I know its Halo 5 Guardians. I’m just asking if it would have set better with people if it didn’t have the “5” tagged with it. And its not December so idk why your talking about the future. I am talking about the game that was just released. I just cant help but think this game would have not been so controversial if it was just Halo Guardians and it led up to Halo 5.
If they had just stuck in like 2 or 3 more Chief missions, there wouldn’t be this much backlash. I’m not sure what they were thinking with the ratio there.
