Helmet can be removed and colours can be modified for the odst characters.
What if there was an update to swapped characters helmets aswell?

I would love that. Considering what the mcc team was doing in 2020 and 2021, If people raised their voice for it, It would have been happened
I don’t think it would have.
ODST is a bit different from the other titles as far as customization goes, and there were/still are a ton of people who would be upset if the legacy customization was altered in as significant a way as Halo 3 was.
at least they were testing a helmeted Johnson at one point, though what helmet he had is still a mystery. (my guess was and still is Hornet Pilot)
Making an additional mode that was tweaked to work in your Halo 3 character would be really neat in my opinion, utilizing Fireteam Raven assets and even playing as a Spartan or Elite. Granted, that’s all just a dream because we’re all waiting for the Flood firefight update still.
I’ll say this though, having Johnson in his marine gear fighting along side another player in green Mark VI would be pretty neat.

That does sounds epic. especially since spartans and elites have shields and johnson and the odsts have health and stamina. Kind of adds a mmo element to firefight.
