Halo 3: ODST Campaign Redeemable Code for MCC

As most of you know, "Online users that logged in with their Xbox Live account and played Halo: The Master Chief Collection on any day from November 11, 2014 through December 19, 2014 at 11:59 pm PDT are eligible for a free code granting access to the Campaign for Halo 3: ODST on Xbox One."

I am one of these users and I do remember getting a message with the redeemable code (it has since then deleted itself from everyone’s inbox that received it), however I never actually redeemed it (I’m an idiot I know). However, I was looking through a FAQ on Halo Waypoint (link: https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/news/halo-the-master-chief-collection-thank-you-faq) and it refers to this:

  • How long do I have to redeem my free code for Halo 3: ODST Campaign? The original in-console message sent on June 1 has been purged from console inboxes. Codes are being resent on July 1 to those who have not yet redeemed their code. All distributed codes will be purged from the in-console message on July 31, 2015, but will still be redeemable. After July 31, users can contact the support forums support forum (http://xbx.lv/1Gwt1M0) for further assistance.

So awesome, I should still be able to redeem the code even though it disappeared from my inbox. I tried checking the link they posted to the support forum, and it turns out the link is dead. So my question is, does anyone know how to contact the support for 343i to retrieve the code? I appreciate any help!!

You can’t I’m afraid OP. Code distribution and support for this was handled by Xbox Live at the time, the link in question there directed users over to the Xbox Live Support forums which had a dedicated support area for this type of thing. For users who didn’t immediately redeem or didn’t note down the code, Xbox Live Support did help people out for over a year after ODST was released.

From memory it’s only about $5 in the Microsoft store. If you sign up for Microsoft rewards you could probably earn a $5 gift card fairly quickly and that could pay for it if you still wanted to play it.
