I recently downloaded my copy ODST earlier this week and had been playing through it with no problem at all. I was able to complete one run-through of the campaign, and was most of the way through a second run when I suddenly could no longer load an ODST mission. I get stuck on the pre-mission loading screen with the loading bar not making any progress. I have left it sitting for up to 20 minutes before to see if it would fix itself, but nothing happened. My Xbox itself is not frozen, as I am still able to return to the dashboard, and this issue does not affect any of the other campaign modes. I now cannot load any ODST playlist or even an individual mission. I tried restarting the game, restarting my Xbox, and reinstalling ODST, and reinstalling the entire game with no success. I have looked around and can’t seem to find any one else with this issue, but if anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it!!
Same problem with Combat Evolved and Halo 2 campaign. I tried to load the map “Meltdown” in Halo 4 customs solo, but it just stopped at zero.
My issue is still persisting today as well, anyone else besides us have this problem?
I’m having the same issue. I really want to see what odst is like on the xbox one but I tried to load the first mission and it stayed at the loading screen with no progress. If someone from 343 could acknowledge this that would be great.
I re downloaded EVERYTHING Halo MCC related on my xbox today, and the issue is resolved for me. Hopefully if you guys try that it’ll work for you too

ODST is listed under Halo 3 campaign missions, it doesn’t have Its own tile
I’m having the same issue… Except that I have a hard copy of the game not a digital version. Any suggestions on how to fix?
Same problem at the loading screen for all ODST missions. No progress. What is going on 343??
hold power button for 10 seconds. then unplug the xbox for 30 seconds. restart and you should be fine

I’m having this issue with Halo 3 ODST. It won’t load a mission…has anyone found a real solution to this? I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling…rebooting my Xbox…nothing seems to work…
I have had this issue, but im wondering if it is my fault. the download started to my external, i let it finish and copied t to my internal where my MCCC is downloaded… but i couldnt get the game to load anything, my friend could, and we purchased/downloaded same time frame, obviously on 2 different systems. So I unistall ODST and am re-installing it, hoping that was my issue, i will update.

So i uninstalled just the dlc, still nothing, i then uninstalled everything, and reinstalled the disc data and dlc, nothing worked until i did a hard restarted (holding the poweer button for 10ish seconds) and that finally got the game to load, YAY. Hope this helps someone else. Good luck. 
I have the same problem with the ODST missions, they will not load. Not even in coop with a friend hosting. Deleting and reinstalling the DLC did not resolve the problem. I haven’t tried that with the game itself, since I am afraid I’ll loose all my progress in playlists and speedruns. Can anyone confirm some sort of fix on this problem, without losing progress? 343…this game has not impressed me at all. It feels like I spend more time searching for MP-games than playing…why? It is 2015, and back in 1969 they landed a man on the moon…just saying. Halo 5…I’ll probably pass on that one

See my post right above yours, i updated it just a minute ago, and what i did worked. If you uninstall everything you wont lose your progress, as xbox stores a save in the cloud, and reinstalls that when you reinstall the game. I would try the hard reboot first, i wish i had maybe it would have save a little aggravation, but maybe i would had to do what i did anyways.

I just did a hard restart (holding powerbutton for 10 sec). That fixed the problem…without creating new ones

I’ve Downloaded ODST 2 days ago and everything worked fine, I tried uninstalling it, restarting the Xbox, Run Self-diagnostics on the console and still nothing can show the loading bar just the spinning loading at the bottom right corner. Halo the Missions from Halo: CEA to Halo4 work fine just except ODST, some how must be a glitch in the game itself software itself.
While the game is stuck in loading, hold the xbox button on the console in for 10 seconds. Once the console switches off, unplug it from its power source. Wait 30 seconds, plug it in and switch it back on. Bada bing bada boom, thank me later. FYI you wouldn’t have to thank me if you read the comments lol
