Halo 3: ODST and Avengers Assemble soundtracks

So, I was listening to the Halo 3: ODST soundtrack on Youtube, because I realised I’d never heard it outside of the game, when I stumbled upon a piece of music which, after hearing out of game sounded oddly familiar. It didn’t take me long to realise what I found it familiar to. The section in question is practically identical to The Avengers’ theme song. Seriously, speed up that section from ODST’s OST, and it is almost exactly the same.

Does anyone else see the similarity, or am I just going mad?

They do sound kinda similar but they’re defintely not identical. There’s definitely distinct differences between the two.

Seems like more of a case of the same instruments being used than anything else.
