Halo 3, the perfect game that lasted us for years and gave us everything we wanted, is going extinct. The population for Halo 3 stayed massive for years, until Reach came out, and ruined everything. Even when Reach was out, the population didn’t drop too much. And now Halo 4 is out, and nobody plays it anymore. The population hasn’t even gone above 50k, which is sad because Halo 3 was such a brilliant and magical game. Halo 3 took 6 years for it’s population to drop to a very low number, and it took Reach 3 years, and Halo 4’s population dropped as low as Reach and Halo 3’s after 6 months. People are still of course going back to Halo 3, seeing how it’s the last proper classic Halo game with online left, but the amount of players returning isn’t enough. And because of that, some players find no point in returning, because the population is so small that most of the playlists aren’t able to be played, leaving us with mainly just Social Slayer. This makes Halo 3 feel dead and not alive and wonderful like it did years ago. But what people don’t realise is that if they’re not going to return because of this reason, then they are causing their own problem. Halo 3 will never come to life again if we don’t go back to it with the hopes that we’ll revive the game. So for all the people who feel the same way, let me ask you this: Are you going to sit around and watch Halo tear apart or are you going to go to help repopulate Halo 3 and make 343 understand something. Think of it this way: If we all play Halo 3 and leave Halo Reach and Halo 4 with a population of 100 players, then maybe 343 will consider making Halo 4 and 5 similar to Halo 3, then the series will be fixed. Think about it guys, this is one the only chances we have left to revieve Halo.
