Halo 3 multiplayer not installing

I’ve been trying to install halo 3 multiplayer on steam mcc but every time I try it stops at 3.2/3.2 gigabytes and the download time goes up to 10 to 17 hours then stops and says “not enough free disk space” even though i have enough disk space. The campaign downloads fine it’s only the multiplayer DLC.

never mind HALO 3 is more near 9 or 10 gigs on steam not 3.2. why must steam lie.
