My Xbox One freezes and then shuts off in almost every match i play in halo 3. Sometimes i can last a game or 2, but it’s guaranteed to crash eventually. I tried uninstalling my halo 3 multiplayer, and then reinstalling. Then I actually got through like 6 matches, but then it crashed my xbox, and it’s right back to being unplayable again. I have not heard of anyone else having this problem, i cant find anything online about it, so i have no idea what to do. This is really depressing because halo 3 is my favourite video game of all time, and it was my first ever video game i played. Me and my friend would play halo 3 on MCC all the time, but now we can’t play together anymore.

Do you happen to have the new skins and armors enabled? There is a known bug where having these turned on causes stability issues with Halo 3. Try disabling these skins/armors for H3 via the gameplay menu in settings, and see if your game still crashes.
