Halo 3 Matchmaking Maps/Gametypes Issues

I think this should go without saying, but please change the Halo 3 maps to their latest iterations that were updated in 2010 instead of the box default maps that came out in 2007.

For example, Boundless instead of Snowbound and Epilogue instead of Epitaph. All of the changes to the maps that were made back in 2010 made the maps more balanced. Also, this would help keep some sort of continuity with the game.

Additionally, all of the bugs/glitches that shipped with the original Halo 3 game are still in this game. One of the most noticeable bugs is the camo/overshield glitch. Here are the steps to re-create:

  1. Pick up a piece of equipment (i.e. bubble shield, drainer, radar jammer)
  2. As you walk over the camo/overshield, press the swap equipment button
  3. You will drop the equipment that you previously had and will NOT pick up the camo/overshield
  4. When you die, the camo/overshield will be on your X and anyone can pick it up

These issues aren’t game-breaking but still should be ironed out when you get matchmaking working properly.

Favorited and bumping
I was so disappointed when I saw the shields on Snowbound. Brought back some nostalgia, but like you said it really did balance the maps out when they updated em.
