It does not matter which multiplayer game type I am trying to play, if it is a Halo 3 map it will fail to load. The load bar does not move at all and I just get kicked out of the match. Its bad enough I have to wait 10 minutes to find a match most the time but cannot even play Halo 3 maps. How do I fix this or am I SOL?

As I was typing this I failed to load yet another Halo 3 Map on bigteam matchmaking. I have even tried going into Halo 3 matchmaking and Team Slayer to see if it was an issue with BTB, but it is an issue on any gametype.
Ironically, you can play Halo 3 on 360 just fine right now. Played all night.

I actually considered getting back on the 360, but I really just like playing halo 2 maps the most. Wish they would fix this game, bought two copies one for me and one for best friend. Feeling kind of ripped off.
Since 343 released the beta on halo 5 this game is trash. It was working pretty good and then all of the sudden I can’t join halo 3 maps. And it’s taking forever to get 8 people in a game. Commonly finds 7 and then 20 minutes to find 1 person. Please stop worrying about a beta too a game coming at the end of the year. We want this game to work perfectly first…
Have the same problem. Halo 3 maps fail 100% of the time since the last update. I get matched, get teams, and move to the load screen. Zero 0% loads and eventually I get booted. How do I uninstall the last update? When is the next patch? When will the game be fixed already?
yea this whole thing is -Yoink!- me off, worked fine for the first month I had game, now this?!?! really?! Beta isn’t even available right now, like he said, work on ur current game before history considers this collection “in the trash”
I had this problem with Halo 3 maps earlier in the week. Saw on a different thread that it might be a region issue (which makes no sense, but this is 343 we’re talking about). So I changed my region to something else (e.g. UK), restarted Xbox, then changed back to the US, restarted Xbox, and Halo 3 worked fine. Give it a shot.
For me loading Halo 3 dont fail all the time but randomly. It has become worse since the last patch.
