I’ve tried Microsoft support and I was referred to the bungie.net support forum, then someone there referred me here. The basic multiplayer maps (ie Guardian, Isolation, Last Resort) will not load. I have the digital copy so it’s not a read error issue. Of course Microsoft won’t help until I’ve exhausted all other options, so here I am.

Since its the digital copy, the first thing to do would be to delete the game from your hard drive then redownload from your download history. Give that a try and let us know what happened.
That was the first thing I tried and I’ve done it several times. One odd thing is that after the latest system update I had to download an update for Halo 3, but the “Title Update” file that’s normally in a game’s folder after doing that isn’t there. Don’t know if that makes any difference.
do you have any exclamation marks on any of your files on halo 3 in your hard drive? if you do delete that file too
All of the files are good. The only files are the game and the map packs, and I’ve deleted and downloaded them all. I am at a complete loss here. Especially since Microsoft won’t acknowledge the problem

I’m leaving towards the game being bugged up since this problem only started after the most recent title update. Of course I’m sure Microsoft doesn’t want to admit the possibility that they screwed up.
