We need a classic map pack for all game types tactical slayer regular slayer everything and halo 3 maps were the best cold storage……the pit……citidal……guardian……assembly……orbital……we need this I mean the game is great the maps are great but we need some old school maps that made halo multiplayer what it was and still is season 2 armor looks like old school storm troopers from Star Wars some stuff is good but 42 is the highest I’m goin give us HALO 3 MAPS

When Forge comes out in the second half of season 1- use that opportunity to release a classic map pack (all the maps you mentioned and more).
This would be a great way to show off what can be done with the new and advanced Forge system.
In the mean time they should recycle some of the H5 maps. They would work instantly with Infinites movement mechanics (sprint and clamber). And you would think they would be in a relatively Infinite friendly data format.

I rarely see Citadel get mentioned, but it’s one of my favourite H3 maps. If they remade it I would really miss doing the Overshield invincibility jump to rockets. Literally started every game doing that.
Conversely, Orbital is my number one least favourite map in the whole of Halo 3. I think it is absolutely abysmal.
I’m not super keen on lots of classic maps just yet. Maybe 1 or 2. They’d need to be rebalanced around sprint and mantle to do I’m not sure 1:1 remakes would work.
Always ready for some Guardian, it’s the perfect place to party on!

Based off Joe S’s interview with Kinda Funny Xcast, I think this is a definite possibility! I’m hoping for more than just the Avalanche/ Sidewinder evolution that’s a reasonable possibility for us to get.
A best case imo is forge remakes of tons of old maps, and 343 developed evolutions of old maps. (Like Truth->Aquarius or Lockout->Guardian)
